What interested me in this is Intel's relationship to the product. Intel Capital seems to be making a smart play--quite different than buying up start-ups. It's hard for me to get my head around the business model of Software As a Service. SpikeSource is one model of what it may look like.
The money for this product launch seems to be saying:"Why can't we play together?" instead of "Let's get married." Suits me fine.
Now I'm going to go to Yahoo's Buzz Game to see if my shares of SocialText have increased in value.
